Payal Dev is an Indian playback singer having sung in Hindi, Bengali, English and Telugu songs. Born on February 26,1989, she started her training under the guidance of her mother, a classical singer.

At a tender age, she displayed mastery over vocal exercises and went on secure a graduation degree in Music.

Her first public performance came at the age of 8 years. She moved to Mumbai at the age of 17 to pursue her dream of becoming a playback singer. She started her professional journey in Mumbai by singing for several brand adfilm jingles, documentaries, corporate songs for various music directors. She got her first break in Bollywood with the title song of Grand-Masti, a runaway hit. Thereafter she recorded 2 songs and parts in the background score for Satya2 made by renowned filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma. She even has rendered background vocals for one of the most talked about documentaries of recent times, “India’s Daughter” for music composer Krsna Solo. Payal also got noticed by the ace film director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and sang 3 songs in her dream movie project “Bajirao Mastani”.

She’s very versatile as a singer and can soulfully render songs from different genres like pop, western, jazz, ghazals, hip-hop, rock, and more.
